For stainless steel, we recommend these primarily for thin chain, small links, and delicate permanent jewelry applications.

When cutting harder material, place it as far back into the cutting head as the piece allows rather than applying unnecessary force at the very tip.

Do not use these to muscle through big, heavy stainless steel. You can damage or break the tapered tip.

If you're cutting heavier stainless steel wire or larger jump rings, reach for a heavier-duty hard-wire cutter instead.
