Many Auto-Darkening Lenses (ADLs) are light reactive, meaning they wait until they detect the welding flash before darkening.

That works for many forms of welding—but not for micro pulse arc welding.

Why the Auto-Darkening Lens Isn't Magnified

The WeldVision Pro™ Auto-Darkening Lens is intentionally not magnified.

Adding magnification directly into the Auto-Darkening Lens can create optical distortion and reduce clarity where precision matters most.

Instead, magnification is provided by the glasses or headband while the Auto-Darkening Lens remains crystal clear.

This design provides a clearer, more accurate view of your weld while allowing you to select the magnification that works best for your eyes.

Both wearable configurations include five interchangeable magnification strengths, allowing you to customize your vision for maximum comfort.

Please note: Like any magnification system, stronger magnification requires you to position your eyes closer to your workpiece. This is completely normal and allows you to see finer detail while welding.
